We are a free Mentorship service for low-income first-generation college students. Our program matches students with credible mentors specializing in their desired major or career.


Rageeb Mahtab

Hailing from Flushing, New York, cofounder Rageeb Mahtab's interest in Education and Non-profit stems from his own experience in College Readiness Programs. He was himself part of many mentor-mentee programs and decided to startup this program because of the problems and limitations for these kinds of programs. Currently a junior studying computer informations systems at Baruch College, Rageeb has founded startups, worked on software development and project management. He is super excited to be a part of this journey!


Raian Rahman

Raian Rahman is a sophomore majoring in Finance, minoring in Data Analytics and Communications. He served as a mentor in the Big Sibs program in Bronx Science, has a few years of experience in private tutoring and mentoring. He served as the Operation Intern at Clarion Partners, a real estate firm, and as the Data and Research Management Intern at Capital Link, a investment relations firm. During his free time, Raian enjoys hanging out with friends, watching tv shows, and playing sports.


Md Mohtasim

Md is a sophomore in Baruch College majoring in Finance and double minoring in data analytics and mathematics. Currently he’s interning at the OTCex group in equity derivative sales. In his free time he enjoys reading, exploring eats throughout NY and watching satire comedies. He wanted to start the Early Career Development Program in order to help low income minority high school students fulfill their utmost potential. Attributing much of his own success to the many mentors in his life, he understands the importance of a strong support system, especially during the formative and confusing years of High School.


Born and raised in Queens, Adeena—a self-proclaimed ambivert—enjoys reading, writing, and all things related to history and civic engagement. She is majoring in Corporate Communication with a minor in Law and Policy. When she’s not in class, Adeena works as Database Assistant at Baruch’s Journalism department. She’s held positions in a variety of institutions, ranging everywhere from Voter Assistance Intern at the Campaign Finance Board to Video Production intern at Refinery29. As for future plans, Adeena has a list of places she wants to travel to—all of which are ranked according to her favorite food. Hint: Italy is up there!


Tahmid Khan

Tahmid Khan is a freshman at Baruch college majoring in Economics and minoring in Mathematics. He works as an instructor at Khan’s Tutorial. In his free time, Tahmid enjoys learning to play musical instruments and reading the news.


Bio - Fariha Farzana is a sophomore majoring in Human Resource Management, and double minoring in Finance and Psychology. She currently serves as a Human Resource coordinator at Khan’s Tutorial, and has previous experience as a Youth Advocate for young women with Girls for Gender Equity. Along with perusing her degree, Fariha also serves as Co-President/Treasurer for an organization within Baruch College, the Muslim Business Association, which provides networking and mentorship opportunities for undergraduate students. Fariha hopes to use her own experiences with mentorship to provide guidance and support to those who will benefit from it in this project.
